Michael McAdam

Michael McAdam is an advisor at Blockchain Capital. Michael has over ten years of experience in the finance industry, including positions at M&T Bank and Blockchain Capital.

McAdam started their career at M&T Bank in 2000 as a vice president of finance. In this role, they were responsible for historical financial analysis, 18-month rolling forecasts, credit risk, regional commercial expansion, emerging markets, industry comparisons, organic growth opportunities and acquisition analyses. Michael was also elected to the Presidents’ Council in 2007, which is the highest honor the Commercial Division of M&T Bank affords an employee.

In 2008, McAdam became the manager of M&T Bank’s Budgeting and Forecasting Group. In this role, they oversaw a monthly forecast process that included two-year projections from over 40 business units. Michael communicated with all levels of management to consolidate, organize and analyze M&T Bank’s performance and future outlook based on the rate environment, market trends, government regulations and peer comparisons. Michael also provided presentations and analyses to the Executive Management Group in order for them to create initiatives and objectives for the Bank.

In 2009, McAdam also became the manager of M&T Bank’s Peer Analytics Group. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing peer banks and providing recommendations to M&T Bank’s executive management team.
