Program Associate, Climate And Environment at Bloomberg Philanthropies

Liv Cowgill is currently serving as a Program Associate for Climate and Environment at Bloomberg Philanthropies since January 2024. Prior to this role, Liv worked as a Program Consultant at ClimateWorks Foundation from May 2022 to January 2024, providing support for the Global Energy Transition Initiative and the Global Climate Program. Liv's experience includes serving as a Policy Officer in the COP26 Unit at the Cabinet Office from January 2021 to April 2022, and an internship at Quadrature Climate Foundation, as well as research at Polygeia. Early career experience includes contributing writing for The Cambridge Student, and internships at Freeths LLP and Nottingham Crown Court. Liv holds a degree in History and Politics from the University of Cambridge, completed between 2017 and 2020, and graduated from Kesteven and Grantham Girls' School in 2017.
