Vanessa Luna is currently serving as the Corporate Philanthropy - Americas - Education at Bloomberg since March 2024. Previously, Vanessa co-founded ImmSchools, where the role encompassed serving as Chief Program Officer from October 2017 to October 2023. Vanessa's experience includes being an Immigrant Civic Leadership Fellow at Coro New York Leadership Center and a Fellow at both The Roddenberry Foundation and Camelback Ventures in 2019 and 2018, respectively. Vanessa held dual roles as a Recruitment Manager and Mentor Teacher at Teach For America, alongside teaching history at Great Oaks Charter Schools and PUC Schools. Vanessa began involvement in education as a Corps Member with Teach For America and gained initial experience as an Education Intern at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Vanessa holds a Bachelor's degree in History with a Minor in Education and Immigration Policy from Binghamton University and a Master's degree in Urban Education and Leadership, focusing on Education Policy & Administration, from Loyola Marymount University.
