Matthew Powers

Matthew Powers is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in technical consulting, quality assurance, and research management. Currently serving as a Technical Consultant at Bloomreach since October 2021, Matthew previously held positions as QA Manager and QA Engineer at Aunt Bertha from October 2016 to October 2021. Prior experience includes roles as QA Engineer, Project Manager, and Director of Research at Stratfor - A RANE Company from August 2009 to September 2016, where leadership included managing a $250K annual budget and overseeing significant research projects for various clients. Additionally, Matthew was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas from January 2006 to May 2009, contributing to student development. Academically, Matthew earned a PhD from The University of Texas at Austin, an MA from the University of Chicago, and a BA from Reed College.
