George Duchak, PhD PE, is an experienced leader in cybersecurity, information technology, and operations within both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Cybersecurity Subcommittee at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, George previously held significant roles, including Chief Operating Officer at an energy company and Director of Information Operations and Chief Information & Innovation Officer at the Defense Logistics Agency, where responsibilities included managing a $2.1 billion IT budget. Other notable positions include Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for C3, Cyber, & Business Systems at the United States Department of Defense and Founding Director of the Defense Innovation Unit (DIUx). With an extensive educational background including a PhD, multiple engineering degrees, and advanced management training, George has a robust expertise in advancing military and organizational capabilities through innovation and technology.
