Connor Brooks

Connor Brooks is a skilled software engineer currently employed at Blue Origin since December 2024. Previous experience includes positions as an engineer at Applied Intuition and robotics software engineer at Everyday Robots, where notable work involved optimization-based motion planning and control for mobile manipulator robots. Connor's academic background features a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Master’s degree from the same institution and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Western Kentucky University. Additional internships at organizations such as Maxar Technologies, U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, and NASA Langley Research Center provided valuable experience in robotic simulation, AI model interpretability, and image processing for drones. Connor also contributed as a graduate teaching assistant during graduate studies.
