Corey Laverty

Corey Laverty is an experienced professional in research development and grant management, currently serving as a Senior R&D Consultant at BlueRock since November 2022. Corey's previous roles include Operations Manager, Senior Grants Advisor, and Grant and Tender Consultant at The GrantEd Group from October 2020 to March 2022. Prior to that, Corey worked at Monash University from April 2017 to October 2020, holding several positions including Senior Applications Advisor and Senior Research Development Officer. Corey has also coordinated projects at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and managed grants at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, contributing to an EU-funded Marie Curie Innovative Training Network. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics and a Graduate Diploma in Economics, both from Massey University and the University of London respectively.
