Philipp Maurer

Philipp Maurer is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and project management within the technology sector. Currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Bluetooth SIG Working Group since January 2022, Philipp also holds the position of VP Engineering at VusionGroup, responsible for comprehensive engineering initiatives across multiple locations in Austria, Croatia, and Bosnia. Previous roles include Head of R&D Projects and Project Manager at SES-imagotag, where Philipp led IoT product development from conception to mass production. Early career experiences include software engineering positions at FH Joanneum, where Philipp gained expertise in Java, SharePoint, and SAP support. Philipp Maurer holds a Master of Arts in Business from FH Joanneum and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the same institution, complemented by studies at the University of Waterloo.
