Tejas Choudhary

Tejas Choudhary currently serves as a Principal at Blume Equity since September 2024. Prior to this role, Tejas held the position of Investment Director focusing on ClimateTech and Sustainability at Verdane from March 2023 to September 2024, contributing to investments in energy transition and sustainability with a firm managing over €7 billion. Tejas gained experience as an Associate in the Technology team at Perella Weinberg Partners, advising startups and scaleups on fundraising, M&A, and restructuring from January 2022 to March 2023. Earlier, Tejas worked at Lazard from June 2018 to January 2022 in both the Venture and Growth Banking Group and the Power and Energy Group, specializing in renewables and utilities. Tejas completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and another in Finance from the Cockrell School of Engineering and the Texas McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, respectively, between 2014 and 2018.
