Gunal Kannan

Gunal Kannan holds extensive experience in technology strategy and advocacy, currently serving as AVP in the CTO Office at BMC Software since January 2015, where responsibilities include driving ideation and innovation for future portfolios and advocating the company's vision across EMEA and APJ markets. Prior roles at BMC include Area Vice President and Director of PreSales for Asia Pacific & Japan, leading teams to showcase organizational value and drive regional growth. Previously, Gunal was VP of PreSales & Professional Services at Allen Systems Group Inc, managing teams across the APAC region, and held various positions at End-End Software, including Product Manager and Technical Manager. Early career experience includes roles as Software Architect & Engineer at Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd. Gunal earned a Master of Applied Science in IT from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University.
