Karen Wong

Karen Wong has extensive experience in collections and recovery, currently serving as the Head of Collections & Recovery at BMW Group Malaysia since September 2019, where expertise lies in hire purchase and corporate recovery, including litigation and debt management. Prior to this role, Karen held the position of Manager at Bank of China, pioneering the establishment of the Recovery Department and specializing in corporate, SME, and retail recovery. Previous experience includes roles as Account Manager at Maybank focusing on recovery and restructuring for commercial NPIL, Manager at RHB Bank with a focus on SME NPIL recovery, and Executive at Hong Leong Bank Berhad handling SME, mortgage, and hire purchase NPIL recovery efforts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire and a Higher Diploma in Marketing from KBU International College.
