Russell Kemmerle

Russell Kemmerle is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as General Counsel for Body Art Alliance since June 2021, where the organization collaborates with leading brands in the body art sector to innovate products for enthusiasts. Prior to this role, Russell held the positions of Vice President and General Counsel at the Society for Clinical Research Sites from March 2017 to November 2019, overseeing major projects and financial management. Russell began a legal career at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner from September 2006 to March 2017, assessing patent applications for patentability. A brief tenure as a Student Attorney at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law was preceded by experience as a Patent Searcher & Researcher at Landon IP from August 2001 to May 2003. Russell earned a Juris Doctor from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law between 2003 and 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from Alfred University from 1997 to 2001.
