Christofer Tautermann

Christofer Tautermann is an accomplished professional in the field of computational chemistry, currently serving as the Director and Global Head of Computational Chemistry at Boehringer Ingelheim since October 2005. Tautermann's prior roles at the company include Director of Computational Chemistry, Head of Computational Chemistry 3 (CMD), Head of Project Support Team 2 (Computational Chemistry), and Computational Chemist. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Tautermann was a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford under the mentorship of Prof. David Clary from March 2004 to September 2005 and held an assistant position at Universität Innsbruck from October 2001 to February 2004. Tautermann holds multiple degrees from Universität Innsbruck, including a Doctorate in Chemistry and a Priv. Doz. in Computational Chemistry, as well as master's degrees in Mathematics and Mathematics/Chemistry.
