Oliver Schanz

Oliver Schanz has extensive experience in IT within the pharmaceutical sector, primarily at Boehringer Ingelheim since October 2007, where currently serves as Head of IT RDM Computational Lead Discovery. In previous roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, responsibilities included overseeing IT demand management, project planning, and vendor management, while introducing agile methodologies. Oliver also served as a Principal System Analyst, supervising students on their Bachelor theses. Earlier positions include a thesis student focused on data management tool development for Non-Clinical Drug Safety and a trainee at Hald Online, working on internet websites and online applications. Oliver holds a Master of Science in Information System Management from the University of Liverpool, as well as degrees from Murdoch University and Hochschule Furtwangen.
