Tadas Panavas

Tadas Panavas is a Senior Principal Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim, where since December 2017, leadership has been provided to a multifunctional group focused on antibody discovery through phage display, optimization via variable region engineering, and bispecific antibody development in Cancer Research. Previously, Tadas served as Associate Director at Alexion Pharmaceuticals from February 2015 to October 2017, overseeing molecular engineering and antibody discovery efforts. Tadas also held the title of Principal Scientist at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where molecular biology support and collaboration management were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include Senior Scientist at Janssen Pharmaceuticals and Assistant Director at LifeSensors Inc., with expertise spanning early-stage antibody generation and directed protein evolution. Tadas earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1994 to 1999.
