Walter Lawhorn

Walter Lawhorn, PharmD, currently serves as the Regional Medical Lead, Director at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) since July 2014, playing a key role in developing strategic business plans and fostering important relationships within the region. Prior to this position, Walter held various roles as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at AbbVie, supporting several therapeutic areas including men's health and immunology dermatology, and at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, where similar responsibilities were focused on neuroscience and psychiatry. Early career experience includes a Medical Science Liaison role at Solvay Pharmaceuticals and a Pharmacist/Resident position at Central Washington Hospital, which involved comprehensive pharmacy responsibilities and clinical projects. Walter obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and an AA in Chemistry from Valdosta State University.
