Kimberly Simon

Kimberly Simon is an experienced Exploration Geologist at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since August 2014, where geological and geophysical evaluations for Gulf of Mexico lease blocks are conducted to assess fair market value. Previous experience includes a Geologist Intern position at Freeport-McMoRan, where a geologic database of historical prospects was developed. Additionally, Kimberly served as an Instructor at the University of New Orleans, teaching Physical and Historical Geology courses, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in various geoscience subjects. Kimberly holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of New Orleans, as well as education from Black River Technical College and Daytona State College.
