Rebecca Rasch, PhD, serves as a Social Scientist at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, focusing on social science and environmental justice in large-scale energy projects. In addition to this role, Rebecca is a Board Member at Wildlife Alliance and previously contributed as a Social Scientist at the Aspen Global Change Institute, advancing research on wildfire risk reduction and climate adaptation. Prior to these positions, Rebecca was a Mixed Methods Research Scientist at Amazon, improving employee experiences, and spent several years at the U.S. Forest Service, implementing evaluations and programs related to gender equity and environmental conservation. Further experience includes work as a Senior Project Manager for the Social Science Research Council and various roles in marketing and governance evaluation. Rebecca holds a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center - CUNY and an MBA in Sustainability from the University of Virginia, along with a BA in American Studies from Wesleyan University.
