Stephen Pomes

Stephen Pomes has extensive experience in library sciences, currently serving as a Librarian at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since October 2011. Prior roles include Evening Reference Librarian at Delgado Community College from 2010 to 2016 and Librarian at BOEMRE and the Minerals Management Service, where responsibilities included reference assistance, interlibrary loans, and cataloging. Earlier positions involved customer service roles in various retail environments and managing a library branch at Jefferson Parish Library. Stephen Pomes holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of New Orleans.
