Mauricio Basila

Mauricio Basila is a seasoned legal expert specializing in capital markets, financial regulation, and private equity. As the Managing Partner at BASILA ABOGADOS, S.C. since August 2009, Mauricio has led significant legal advisory for the placement of development capital certificates (CKDs), public and private offerings, and the establishment of private equity funds. Additionally, Mauricio serves as an independent member of the Listing Committee at the Mexican Stock Exchange and as an Independent Counselor at COVAF. Mauricio's experience includes a notable tenure at AMEXCAP, where contributions were made during a period of considerable growth for private equity in Mexico.
