Max Simmonds

Max Simmonds serves as a Software Engineer at Bolt since July 2024 and has been the Chief Executive Officer of TEO Robotics Limited since April 2021. TEO Robotics, based in Bristol, focuses on designing electronics for diverse industries including hydrogen fuel cells and medical sectors. Prior to Bolt, Max worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Lloyds Banking Group and as a Technical Lead for Analogue and Digital Design Engineering at Thales Alenia Space. Additional experience includes roles at Diamond Light Source, Open Cosmos Ltd., Safran Electrical & Power, the European Space Agency, and National Instruments. Max holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Plymouth and completed CS50x in Computer Science at Harvard University.
