Jeff Schroeder

Jeff Schroeder is an experienced geologist currently serving as the Lead of Development Geology at Civitas Resources since November 2021. Prior to this role, Jeff held positions at Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc. from December 2013, initially as a Development Geologist and later as a Senior Geologist, where responsibilities included managing a multi-disciplinary team for a horizontal drilling program in the Wattenberg Field and overseeing the permitting process. Earlier experience includes working as a Geologist at Encana Corporation from June 2009 to November 2013, where Jeff supervised multiple drilling operations and provided geologic insights for resource development. Jeff Schroeder holds a Master’s degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Central Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from William & Mary, along with doctoral studies in Geological and Earth Sciences at The University of Kansas.
