Nate Borgelt

Nate Borgelt currently serves as the Head of Watches for the Americas at Bonhams since November 2021. Previously, Borgelt held the position of Senior Vice President COO at Santa Fe Art Auction from January 2020 to October 2021, and worked at Sotheby's as Vice President and Senior International Specialist in Watches from July 2013 to December 2019. Additional experience includes roles as a Watch Expert at Antiquorum and Patrizzi & Co, and as a Bid Clerk and Client Representative at Christie's. Early career experience includes a design and construction internship at Signature Homes and a technical assistant/test driver position with Mercedes Benz USA. Borgelt holds a BA from Connecticut College, with majors in History of Indigenous Cultures, American Studies, and Photography, and has studied Archeology and Italian language at the Accademia Italiana. Educational background also includes a high school diploma from Deerfield Academy.
