John C Kane

John C Kane is a seasoned wine industry professional with extensive experience in winemaking and winery operations. Currently serving as General Manager and Vice President of Winemaking and Winery Operations at Bonterra Organic Estates since August 2016, John has a proven track record in managing large-scale wine production, overseeing 2.5 million cases at Fetzer Vineyard's winery. Prior to this role, John founded JCK Wine Company, where all aspects of winery operations were managed from April 2014 to August 2017. John's previous experience includes significant roles at Diageo and Rosenblum Cellars, where responsibilities ranged from overseeing winemaking operations to creating a diverse portfolio of wines. John holds a BS in Enology/Biochemistry from California State University, Fresno, and has furthered education in finance and winery accounting through programs at the University of California, Davis, and Sonoma State University.
