Hector Olmo is an experienced public administrator with a robust background in law enforcement and project management. Currently serving as the Borough Administrator for the Borough of Paramus since March 2022, Olmo also holds the position of Vice Commander at the Bergen County American Legion since May 2017. Previously, Olmo was the Borough Administrator for Wallington Borough from February 2019 to March 2022 and worked as a Project Manager at ESGC from January 2017 to February 2019, overseeing large construction projects. Olmo's career includes significant roles at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office as an FAIU Investigator from December 2003 to November 2016 and a long tenure as a Traffic Officer with the Tenafly Police Department from January 1990 until retirement in November 2016. Olmo earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University between 1986 and 2015, following a high school education at Tenafly High School from 1980 to 1984.
