Jane Gajsiewicz

Jane (Klann) Gajsiewicz, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in the fields of business development and corporate strategy within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as the Owner and Manager of Boston Area Doulas since January 2025, Jane previously held key positions at Life Edit Therapeutics from September 2021 to January 2025, including Associate Director and Senior Manager of Business Development and Corporate Strategy. Prior to that, Jane worked at ElevateBio and Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., gaining significant experience in global business development. Additionally, Jane's career includes consulting roles at L.E.K. Consulting, where responsibilities included project leadership in the life sciences domain. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Occidental College and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Immunology and Microbiology from UC San Diego.
