Deirdre Phillips is the current Trustee at Boston Children's Museum. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at The Autism Consortium from March 2008 to December 2015. The Autism Consortium is a clinical and research collaboration which brought together scientists and clinicians from Boston's premier research and healthcare institutions with the goal of understanding and treating autism. Deirdre was responsible for leading the organization and facilitating collaboration among the members, as well as overseeing the annual scientific symposium which saw an attendance of 600 people. In addition, they were also responsible for fundraising and stewarding donors, raising over $5 million in grant funding from various national and local foundations. Thanks to their efforts, The Autism Consortium was able to provide valuable resources to more than 10,000 affected families while engaging many of those families in autism research, and establish Boston as a respected center for autism research and care.
Deirdre Phillips has a Bachelor's Degree in Government from Wheaton College Massachusetts and is currently a Senior Fellow at the Center for Business and Government at Harvard Kennedy School.
