Gelera Alessandra

Gelera Alessandra is a seasoned professional in health economics and public affairs, currently serving as the Health Economics & Market Access Country Head at Boston Scientific since February 2006. In this role, Gelera manages practices across the EU Big 5, fostering collaboration among public affairs, data analytics, and various divisional resources. Prior positions include Senior Head of Public Affairs at Boston Scientific in Milan, where Gelera developed key relationships with institutional stakeholders, and Senior Manager of Health Economics & Public Affairs, focusing on economic models and health technology assessments. Additionally, since January 2020, Gelera has been the Italy Ambassador and a member of the Review Committee for the Boston Scientific Foundation Europe. Previous experience includes roles at Pfizer and an internship at AstraZeneca. Gelera holds a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies, Pharmacology from Università degli Studi di Milano.
