Jillian Genova

Jillian Genova is currently a PhD student in Organic Chemistry at Boston University since August 2024. Prior to this position, Jillian worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from July 2021 to August 2024, progressing through roles as a Medicinal Chemistry Co-op, Research Associate, and Senior Research Associate. Jillian's experience also includes serving as a Research Assistant and Structured Study Group Leader at the University of Michigan from June 2018 to June 2021, where responsibilities involved leading chemistry students and designing lesson plans. Additionally, Jillian contributed to biophysical research under Professor Sarah Keane and gained quality control experience as an intern at Bløm Meadworks. Jillian holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, completed in 2021, and also studied at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2019.
