John Klyce

John Klyce is an MFA in Creative Writing student at Boston University, starting in September 2024. Klyce has extensive experience in journalism, having served as an Education and Children's Issues Reporter for The Commercial Appeal from July 2023 to August 2024, and as a reporter for the Memphis Business Journal from September 2019 to June 2023, where significant investigative stories were written. Klyce participated in the Higher Education Media Fellowship through the Institute for Citizens & Scholars from April 2022 to April 2023 and contributed as a freelance reporter for The Daily Memphian. Klyce's writing has explored various topics, including public transportation and community issues, through contributions to Click magazine and Memphis Mirror. Additionally, Klyce is an actor represented by Colors Agency, with notable appearances in the CMT series Sun Records. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Memphis, earned in 2018.
