Tara Watchorn

Tara Watchorn currently serves as the Head Ice Hockey Coach at Boston University since April 2023 and has been an U18 Assistant Coach for Hockey Canada since August 2019, contributing to the Women’s U18 World Championships. Prior experience includes roles as the Head Women’s Hockey Coach at Stonehill College from May 2021 to June 2023, and as an Assistant Women’s Hockey Coach at Boston University from November 2017 to June 2021. Watchorn's professional hockey career spanned from 2014 to 2017 in the Canadian Women's Hockey League, following a successful tenure as a player on Hockey Canada's Women's National Team from 2007 to 2017, including participation in U18, U22, and Senior Teams. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Boston University (2008-2012) and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University (2016-2021).
