Dr. Israel A. Legwaila

Coordinator, Incu-hive (the BUAN Graduate Entreprenuershp Programme) at Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources

Dr. Israel A. Legwaila is a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the INCU-HIVE (The BUAN Graduate Entrepreneurship Programme) at the Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, where expertise includes landscape planning, design, development, and management. Research interests focus on parks planning and design, land reclamation, grassed sports surfaces, turfgrass management, and indigenous plant materials. Previous roles include Acting Director at the Centre for In-service and Continuing Education from January 2016 to April 2019, as well as a Lecturer from February 2006 to May 2016. Dr. Legwaila holds a PhD in Landscape Architecture with a specialization in Mined Land Reclamation from the University of Sheffield, in addition to a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University and undergraduate degrees in Parks and Natural Resources Management and Ornamental Horticulture.
