Edison Chiu

Edison Chiu is a Computer Science and Data Science student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with diverse experience in technology and program development. Currently serving in the Technology Cabinet for the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of the Midwest since June 2024, Edison has developed mobile applications using React Native to enhance platform functionality. Previous experience includes working as a Data Science Scholar at the Discovery Partners Institute, where Edison utilized R and statistics for data analysis projects, and contributing as an Apprentice at After School Matters by creating a beginner Python course. As an iOS App Developer for Everyone Can Code Chicago, Edison led a team in developing an app using Swift, showcasing leadership and teamwork skills throughout.
