Anthony Murphy

Anthony Murphy is a finance professional and an Associate Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) with extensive banking, financial, and strategic planning experience. Prior to his current position as Chief Financial Officer at the Nottingham building society Anthony was CFO at Tandem where he played a pivotal role in the company's migration to a new core banking platform, concluded a number of capital raises, mergers, and acquisitions activities and grew its deposit offering. Before that, he worked in the United Arab Emirates as CFO for a listed regional bank and has also held a number of senior finance and strategy roles with Lloyds Banking Group.

Anthony is an alumnus of Bournemouth University, having graduated with a B.A (Hons) Financial Services with first class honors in 2001.

He is a member of the Audit, Risk & Governance Committee and the Student Experience, Quality & Standards Committee.
