John Crouch

John Crouch is an experienced professional in software engineering and architecture, currently serving as Lead Architect for the Equinor Corrosion Management project at Bouvet ASA since May 2021. In this role, John collaborates with enterprise architects, UX designers, and software developers to deliver a robust data architecture. John previously contributed as a Product Owner Representative for the Fusion project, enhancing business needs into actionable tasks, and supported Aker BP in establishing a Digital Support Package for Requirements Management. Prior to joining Bouvet ASA, John spent 15 years at National Oilwell Varco in various management roles, including Software Engineering Manager and Global Product Engineering Manager, leading teams in software development for the drilling industry. John's career began with NEC Technologies (UK) Ltd, where responsibilities included leading automation projects for software testing and validation. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth and a BEng Hons in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Wales.
