For almost a century, Occoneechee Council has helped NC youth develop leadership skills, responsibility, patriotism, moral integrity and service to others.

The Mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Occoneechee Council is one of the largest and most prominent youth development organizations in North Carolina. We provide young people in with responsible fun and adventure while instilling in them lifetime values and ethical character development as expressed by the Scout Oath and Law.
