Connor Tann

Connor Tann is a seasoned data scientist at BP, holding various roles since September 2014, including Staff Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist. As a co-founder and lead of BP's internal Data Science Community of Practice, Connor provides technical leadership and promotes machine learning capabilities within the organization. In addition to these responsibilities, Connor has a robust background as a Petrophysicist, working on significant projects, such as the Rumaila super-giant oil field and the Khazzan field in Oman. Connor’s educational qualifications include an Msci in Experimental and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge, as well as specialized training in data science from prestigious institutions like Stanford University and The Data Incubator.
