Thierry Sommelet

Thierry Sommelet is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in investment management and board governance. Currently serving as Managing Director for Direct Investments and Head of Technology, Media, Telecom Investments at Bpifrance since July 2013, Thierry also holds several board member positions across notable companies including Vantiva, Orange, Worldline Global, IDEMIA, and Technicolor Creative Studios. A former Senior Investment Director at Bpifrance, Thierry's leadership roles extend to chairing the board at SOITEC and previously at Technicolor, along with significant contributions to Talend and Greenbureau. Education includes an MBA from INSEAD and an engineering degree in Finance from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
