Ian Davies

Ian Davies, CFA, is a seasoned professional in data science and finance. Currently serving as an Instructor at BrainStation since October 2022, Ian specializes in Python and Data Science. Simultaneously, Ian holds the role of Principal Data Scientist at Capital One, having progressed from Senior Data Scientist to Senior Associate in Data Science since July 2019. Prior experience includes positions as Investment Analyst at EdgePoint Wealth Management from October 2017 to October 2018 and Senior Marketing Analyst followed by Sales & Marketing Associate at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group from July 2014 to October 2017. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Brock University and has completed a Full Time Course in Data Science, focusing on Python, R, SQL, and Tableau at BrainStation.
