Michelle Shain

Michelle Shain is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in Jewish studies and social policy. Currently serving as the Director of Research at the Jewish Nonprofit Planning and Research Institute, Michelle previously held key positions at Brandeis University, including Visiting Research Scientist and Associate Research Scientist at the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies. Michelle also directed the Center for Communal Research at the Orthodox Union and contributed as its Assistant Director. Michelle holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Policy from Brandeis University and a Master of Arts (MA) in Contemporary Jewry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
