Sheela Tabrizi

Sheela Tabrizi is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Brassica since April 2023. In addition, Tabrizi operates as a Legal & Regulatory Advisor, providing counsel to early-stage blockchain technology start-ups and crypto hedge funds. Previously, Tabrizi held the role of Assistant General Counsel at Amber Group, overseeing legal matters for the US affiliate and developing compliant products. Tabrizi has also served as Senior Counsel at DFINITY and Box, managing a range of commercial agreements, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. Earlier positions include Head of Legal & Business Affairs at Ensighten and Legal Counsel at Sound Imaging, where Tabrizi addressed various legal issues and negotiated contracts. Tabrizi's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from UCLA and a J.D. in Business Law from California Western School of Law.
