Kai Wan

Kai Wan is an experienced Senior Product Manager currently at Brenntag since June 2022, overseeing customer growth and pricing forecasting while leading a cross-functional data science team in advanced analytics and data-driven products. Previously, Kai served as Senior Product Manager at Bynder, focusing on the development and market strategy for the Digital Asset Management Platform, particularly transitioning to a micro-services architecture. At Elsevier, Kai managed a cross-product portfolio, enhancing user experience through seamless integrations and interfaces, and oversaw the lifecycle of Scopus, a scientific database platform. Earlier roles include co-founding the Shilin Foundation at Leiden University and serving as a web editor in the Faculty of Humanities. Kai holds an M.A. in Chinese Studies and a B.A. in Sinology from Leiden University, with additional academic experience at Shandong University.
