Mary Kristina Ledo

Mary Kristina Ledo currently serves as the Vice President of Recruitment at BridgePrep Academy since June 2024. Prior to this role, Ledo was the Executive Area Director at Academir Charter Schools Inc., overseeing low-income Title 1 schools with significant ELL and special education populations from July 2015 to June 2024. Ledo's extensive experience includes positions at the Florida Department of Education, where expertise was provided for compliance and IDEA across multiple school districts, as well as roles in Miami-Dade County Public Schools focusing on SPED compliance and staffing. Additionally, Ledo has worked as a director for the Marino Campus' Virtual Reality Career Institute and taught as an adjunct professor at Florida International University. Ledo holds a Doctor of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Florida International University, supplemented by specialist and master’s degrees in Educational Leadership and Special Education from Nova Southeastern University and Florida State University, respectively.
