Caroline Lecaplain Staffa

Caroline Lecaplain Staffa is a highly experienced photonics engineer currently employed at Bridger Photonics, Inc. since September 2024. Prior to this role, Caroline served as a Manufacturing Laser Engineer at Quantel laser by LUMIBIRD from September 2020 to September 2024 and was a Senior Laser Physicist at Opticslah, where the focus was on designing a dual frequency comb prototype for spectroscopy. Caroline's academic background includes an Assistant Research Professorship at the University of Arizona, emphasizing dual comb spectroscopy, as well as postdoctoral research positions at EPFL, ICB UMR CNRS 6303, and CORIA, focusing on various aspects of laser dynamics and fiber oscillators. Caroline holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Université de Rouen, further supplemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Optics and Physics.
