Rostislav Shpilsky

Rostislav Shpilsky has extensive experience in the financial technology sector, currently serving as the Head of Trading Development at Bridgewater Associates since May 2017. Prior to this role, Rostislav was the CTO at Clear Markets, where innovative electronic trading systems for complex fixed income and credit derivatives were developed and operated. As a co-founder of LeRo Enterprise, innovative consumer products were designed and manufactured. Rostislav held the position of CTO of Front Office Technology at Citadel Investment Group, overseeing core technology support. Additional roles include serving as Principal and Head of Equity Derivatives Order Management at Bank of America, Manager of Sell Side OMS Interfaces at Bloomberg, and Head of Technology at Equity Trading Partners. Early career experience includes a VP role in Trading Technology at Herzog, Heine, Geduld, and programming and analysis at MTF, Ltd. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in Physics and Computer Science from Kiev Polytechnic University and Киев Engineering Technical Institute.
