Brian Gonda is currently a Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University, where assistance is provided to students in Chemical Reaction Engineering and effective communication skills are developed. With experience as a Lithium-Ion Battery Research Assistant, Brian designed experiments that significantly increased silicon surface area, improving battery life and capacity while streamlining processes to save costs. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at American Battery Factory Inc. and a Process Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments, focus was placed on enhancing product quality and addressing engineering process challenges. Previously, Brian worked as a Manufacturer at Tahoma Climbing Tech, optimizing manufacturing methods, and increased production outputs. Brian also contributed as a Nuclear Modeling Research Assistant, utilizing advanced software for modeling heat transfer in nuclear reactors and enhancing data analysis through machine learning. Brian is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Brigham Young University, expected to graduate in 2024.
