Teresa Bell

Teresa Bell is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in second language acquisition and teacher education. Since August 2013, Teresa has served as a Professor and previously as an Associate Professor at Brigham Young University. In addition, Teresa has held the position of ACTFL Program Review Coordinator for CAEP since 2016 and was part of the ACTFL National Review Audit Team from 2013 to 2016. Prior to these roles, Teresa was an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma from 2002 to 2013 and acted as a National Reviewer for the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education from 2009 to 2013. Teresa earned a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching from the University of Arizona (1995-2001), an MA in German Language and Literature from Brigham Young University (1990-1992), and a BA in German and Math from Brigham Young University (1985-1990).
