Ryan Margolis

Ryan Margolis, PhD, currently serves as a Program Manager for the Texas Innovation Accelerator at BrightEdge - American Cancer Society since September 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University, focusing on characterizing acoustic properties for neuromodulation technology and leading regulatory strategies for commercialization. Previously, Ryan held leadership positions at Nucleate as Co-Managing Director and Co-Director of Operations, overseeing partnerships, strategy, and the Activator Program that supports bioentrepreneurs. Ryan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, along with master's degrees from Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania, and dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Research experience spans a range of institutions, emphasizing ultrasound therapy, focused ultrasound devices, and cancer aggressiveness prediction studies.
