Valerie Burciaga

Valerie Burciaga is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Pavilion and Guest Services at the Briscoe Western Art Museum since August 2021. Previously, from March 2020 to September 2024, Valerie held the position of Nutrition Grant Manager at both the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Texas Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs, managing the USDA Food & Nutrition Children's Program. Valerie's extensive background includes roles such as Senior Director of Operations at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Bend, Education & Programs Coordinator at Briscoe Western Art Museum, and various positions within Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio, including Director of Teen Programs and Director of Development. Valerie began the career as an Agriculture Technician for Bexar County's Texas AgriLife Extension Services. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, completed between 2004 and 2008.
