Markus Thiemert

Markus Thiemert has over two decades of experience in the tobacco and vaping industry, currently serving as the Global Future Product Pipeline Lead for Tobacco Heating Products at BAT since April 2004. Prior roles at BAT include leadership positions overseeing new product development and brand management across diverse regions such as Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Japan. Prior to joining BAT, Markus Thiemert worked as a Software/Database Consultant at Opix AG from October 2000 to December 2003. Markus Thiemert holds a degree from HTWK Leipzig, completed in 2000.
